Linda Kender's Dog Friendly Training is offering a Therapy Dog Workshop to help prepare you and your dog to visit in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospices and other pet therapy friendly locations. The workshop will include four one hour classes. 

 

This workshop will offer a review of basic obedience and help you develop new skills  to prepare you and your dog for the Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog evaluation.  Included will be discussions on how to read your dog's body language, working in partnership with your dog, introduction of various medical equipment, role playing and more. Turid Rugaas' book "On Talking Terms With Dogs"will be included in the workshop fee of $120.  All vaccinations  must be current. This workshop is for dogs who are already proficient at basic obedience skills and are outgoing, confident and friendly around strangers
